Great sex advice that transforms lives...
What is Normal?

loving couple embraceThere’s a wide variation of what’s normal, so much so that there really is no normal whether we’re talking about the number of times people make love, how long they spend over foreplay or over sex, or how many orgasms a woman or a man has during sex.

There is some interesting information on www.durex.co.uk where people have volunteered information to the Durex survey.

Frequency of sex: the sexist nations
The Greeks and the French, (according to Durex) are the nations who have the most sex. Around 137 to 138 times a year is the average according to Durex. The Japanese have sex the least, at around 47 times a year.

Duration of sex: 2 minutes or less!
Kinsey’s’ original research in the US in the late 1940s uncovered a remarkable statistic: for 75% of American men (and one assumes their partners) sex took 2 minutes or less. Even research conducted more recently in the UK in 2005 indicated that the average across the UK and US was around 7 minutes and across western nations as a whole, around 5 minutes. That may or may not be your experience.

Time spent on foreplay
Around 19 minutes on average, according to www.durex.co.uk, is the time people spend on foreplay. So we now have some view of “normality” or perhaps averages as there is no such thing as normal; on average people spend about 19 minutes on foreplay and on average people spend about 5 minutes on sex. There appears to be no scientific (or not so scientific) information on how many orgasms people have – unless you know differently!

Number of orgasms
What research there is suggests that men expect to have an orgasm every time they have sex. So if a man has sex 137 times a year one supposes that he has on average 137 orgasms a year. As for women, well, there doesn’t seem to be any information out there, but if you know differently please send us that information. We will also be collecting information via surveys and polls, so please hep us by sending us your experiences.

Women can have 5, 10, 15 orgasms or more during sex
It’s perfectly possible for a woman to have 5 or 10 orgasms even when sex takes 10 minutes. It’s perfectly possible for men to extend the sex part of lovemaking to 15, 20 or 30 minutes or more. Both of these can be achieved by using the EROS Technique.

While it may take a little time to perfect the technique (let's say a few weeks) it’s absolutely worth investing that time for the extra pleasure and fun it can bring. The basic information on the EROS Technique, Penetrative Foreplay and Orgasmic Triggers is available free-of-charge on this website. So please read, practice, enjoy and give us your feedback.
